Energy, Spiraling, Reverberating

Some themes that keep coming up for me are the movements in nature that I see as Spiraling and Reverberating. Here are two more.

Each piece is a 12 x 12 encaustic painting on a wooden panel.

New Year to define one's thoughts and make art.

Energy Spiral.....SOLD

New work in a summer of heat.

It was extra hot this summer so that working in a heated medium was less desirable. However when the spirit calls the artist goes to work. Perhaps the cool palette was my answer to making paintings with a quiet, soothing tone in spite of the weather.
